Challenge: Bad Breaches
Budget Maintenance has grown from a traditional janitorial service company into five sophisticated companies and a high-energy supplier of first class services in the construction and emergency services industry. As a rapidly growing business, IT was a back-burner initiative and lacked cohesive management until the loss in productivity and profit became apparent. It wasn’t until a series of major security breaches and backup failures made Budget Maintenance realize they had outgrown their current IT managed service provider. Their data breach had exposed essential business information that took the business days of downtime to correct.

Goals: Fully Protected
- Reduce time and resources spent managing IT
- Eliminate security risks and concerns
- Secure digital business assets
Solutions: CyberCare on the Attack
As a full solutions IT provider, KPInterface had a variety of ways of handling a security breach. Budget Maintenance was recommended a service agreement with a full cyber security suite which would allow KPInterface to run scans and tests to show where Budget Maintenance was most vulnerable. The next step would require making major upgrades to their network security including encryption and protection policies. These policies put in place overed security and antivirus, dark web and phishing training, password management, two factor authentication, and more. KPInterface utilizes several programs to put all these services in place, and our Director of Technology is consistently researching the best and newest products and services to implement, especially when it comes to the security of our clients.
